My Memory Tasting

Molto maturo e concentrato nel calice ricorda prugne nere, susine, more, visciole, canfora e fiori bianchi. Tanta violetta selvatica domina la scena secondaria complessando la matrice di esemplare fattura. In sottofondo la potenza si alterna alla grazia con note profonde di china, rabarbaro e buccia di mandarino miste a fiori bianchi e calendula. Corpo pieno, tannini leggermente rigidi al momento che si distenderanno nel tempo ed un finale deciso ed avvolgente che regala emozioni ad ogni sorso. Un vino cupo che con il passare del tempo nel calice mostra tanta energia e gioia di esprimersi. Un'annata da ricordare in Valdarno che a Petrolo hanno interpretato in modo magistrale. Very mature and concentrated in the glass showing notes of black prunes, plums, blackberries, camphor and white flowers. A lot of wild violets dominate the secondary scene giving complexity to the matrix which is of exemplary craftsmanship. In the background the power alternates with grace in the deep notes of quinine, rhubarb and mandarin peel mixed with white flowers and calendula. Full bodied, tannins slightly rigid at the moment but will lengthen over time and a decisive, enveloping finale, giving great feeling in every sip. A gloomy wine which with the passing of time in the glass shows a lot of energy and joy in expressing itself. A vintage to remember in Valdarno, one in which Petrolo interpreted in a masterful manner. Better from 2026.
